Aunque todavía no lo han confirmado oficialmente la gente de SONY, todo apunta a que el grupo hacker conocido cómo GOP (Guardians of Peace), ha conseguido acceder a la intranet de Sony y obtener información sobre ellos, incluyendo documentos secretos, passwords, etc. cómo se puede observar en la imagen. Ésta imagen es la que aparece en todos los sistemas hackeados.
También los miembros de GOP habrían podido hacerse con cuentas de Twitter temporalmente, siendo éstas recuperadas al poco tiempo por Sony Pictures.
El ataque fué tan contundente que para evitar males mayores el personal de Sony Pictures tomó la decisión de desconectarse de Internet, desconectar todo tipo de conexión WIFI e incluso a algunos trabajadores les recomendarón irse a sus casas.
Según GOP han dejado un archivo de más de 200 Mb con el detalle de nombres de archivos que han borrado del sistema.
Éstos datos, detallados en dos listas, contienen más de 18 millones de entradas y 19 millones respectivamente, incluyendo documentos en .pdf, .doc, archivos de texto con contraseñas, bases de datos....

Podemos encontrarnos desde documentación sobre cifrado, código fuente, archivos con contraseñas, hacking, e incluso algún video porno y algún keygen, para que luego digan...
Según mi opinión y varias fuentes de blogs/períodicos de renombre, de ser verdad ésta noticia, y la cantidad de información que se haría pública, podría suponer incluso al cierre de la compañía.
